It was Aiello's Bakery that provided the mob with sugar for their bootleg stills. Feeling the pinch from all sides of the mob invading his successful iimport businesses and wanting to be top boss himself, Aiello tried multiple times to take out Capone including poisoning. Aiello managed to stay alive while also being an FBI informant for a while. Capone finally ordered a hit on Aiello in October 1930. So much for ambition.
